Our New Family Practice is searching for an experienced Dental Assistant to join our TEAM. We are looking for a competent dental assistant who will make the dentist’s office more efficient and pleasant for patients. We are NOT a Corporate dental practice. You’ll ensure excellent customer service and be part of a happy productive dental team. We want you to be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care and able to make office procedures as smooth as possible.
We are a high-quality practice that treats our patients as family. We have exceeded the OSHA and CDC protocols in regard to the pandemic. Applicants must be well organized, have a pleasant chair-side manner, and be a TEAM player. Must be x-ray certified and have experience with Open Dental or similar software. Must be able to review and schedule treatment for patients. Hours are Thursday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday Hours will be reviewed during the interview. Responsibilities
- Welcome patients in the dental office, preparing patients and OP for dental work.
- Prepare patients for treatment or checkups ensuring their comfort.
- Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed.
- Sterilize instruments according to regulations.
- Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry.
- Undertake lab tasks as instructed.
- Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
- Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked.
- Schedule appointments
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures.
